Acceptance
By creating an account or using Pilvi you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the service.
Eligibility
You must be at least 18 years old and legally able to enter into a contract in your jurisdiction.
What Pilvi is
Pilvi is a personal cannabis reflection and self-tracking tool for adults. It is not medical, legal, or safety advice. Pilvi does not encourage illegal activity. You are solely responsible for complying with the laws that apply to you, including any laws governing cannabis where you live and where you use the app.
Your responsibilities
- Keep your credentials secure.
- Provide accurate information when logging sessions and check-ins.
- Comply with all laws that apply to you, including cannabis laws in your location.
- Do not use Pilvi to give medical advice to other people.
Acceptable use
You will not: attempt to break, probe, or overload the service; scrape or resell data; upload unlawful content; use Pilvi to harass or harm others; use Pilvi to buy, sell, or facilitate the sale of controlled substances; or use Pilvi to provide medical advice to third parties.
Intellectual property
Pilvi — including its software, source code, design, brand, name, logos, content, systems, analytics, prompts, workflows, and related intellectual property — remains owned by Johannes Salovaara (or licensors) unless a separate written agreement states otherwise. You keep ownership of the personal data you enter (session logs, check-ins, notes, photos). Except for the limited right to use the service as intended, users receive no ownership rights in Pilvi. You may not copy, reproduce, scrape, resell, reverse engineer, decompile, clone, redistribute, or create derivative commercial products from Pilvi, except where such restriction is prohibited by applicable law.
User content
You grant us a limited, worldwide, royalty-free licence to process the content you submit strictly to operate the service (store, display back to you, run AI analysis you request, back up).
Feedback, suggestions, and bug reports
By submitting feedback, bug reports, suggestions, comments, or feature ideas — through the in-app feedback form, email, community channels, or any other means — you grant Pilvi a worldwide, royalty-free, perpetual, irrevocable, sublicensable right to use, modify, publish, and implement that input to improve Pilvi or related products without compensation, attribution, confidentiality obligation, ownership transfer, or obligation to implement it. Submitting feedback does not create ownership rights in Pilvi or any resulting feature.
Founder Club
Founder Club is an early-member and feedback program for the first 500 paying Premium members. Founder status is a recognition, discount, and feedback channel — it does not grant equity, ownership, voting rights, profit rights, revenue share, dividends, employment, partnership, agency, or legal control over Pilvi or Johannes Salovaara. Founder benefits (permanent discount, badge, early access, priority support, input channel) continue while your Premium subscription remains active and while the program remains offered. Reaching 500 Founding Members marks when App Store / TestFlight preparation begins; it does not guarantee App Store approval, availability in any specific country, or a launch date.
Referral rewards
When a person you refer becomes a paying Premium member through Stripe, you receive one free month of Premium, subject to abuse-prevention checks. There is no cash payout, equity, employment, partnership, or other reward. Clicks, signups, and free trials alone do not qualify. Self-referrals, duplicate accounts, and fraudulent activity are excluded and may forfeit rewards. The reward structure may change with reasonable notice.
Premium subscriptions
Premium features are billed on a recurring basis until cancelled. See the Subscription Terms and Refund Policy for details.
Payment
Card payments are processed by Stripe. Stripe receives only the information necessary for billing (identifier, email, plan) — never your cannabis logs, check-ins, chats, or photos.
Termination
We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms or that abuse the service. You can terminate your account at any time from Settings → Delete account. Deleting your account removes your personal data according to the Privacy Policy, but does not require Pilvi to remove product changes, generalized learnings, or improvements previously built based on feedback you submitted.
Disclaimer of warranties
The service is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind to the maximum extent permitted by law.
Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Johannes Salovaara is not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages. Nothing in these Terms limits mandatory consumer rights under Finnish and EU consumer protection law.
Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of Finland (EU), without prejudice to mandatory consumer protection rules of your country of residence. Disputes with EU consumers may also be brought before the consumer's local courts.
Changes
We may update these Terms. Material changes will be announced in-app; continued use after the effective date is acceptance of the new version.
