Acceptance
By creating an account or using Pilvi you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the service.
Eligibility
You must be at least 18 years old and legally able to enter into a contract in your jurisdiction.
What Pilvi is
Pilvi is a personal cannabis reflection and self-tracking tool for adults. It is not medical, legal, or safety advice. Pilvi does not encourage illegal activity. You are solely responsible for complying with the laws that apply to you, including any laws governing cannabis where you live and where you use the app.
Your responsibilities
- Keep your credentials secure.
- Provide accurate information when logging sessions and check-ins.
- Comply with all laws that apply to you, including cannabis laws in your location.
- Do not use Pilvi to give medical advice to other people.
Acceptable use
You will not: attempt to break, probe, or overload the service; scrape or resell data; upload unlawful content; use Pilvi to harass or harm others; use Pilvi to buy, sell, or facilitate the sale of controlled substances; or use Pilvi to provide medical advice to third parties.
Intellectual property
Johannes Salovaara (or licensors) owns the Pilvi app, brand, and content. You keep ownership of the data you enter.
User content
You grant us a limited, worldwide, royalty-free licence to process the content you submit strictly to operate the service (store, display back to you, run AI analysis you request, back up).
Premium subscriptions
Premium features are billed on a recurring basis until cancelled. See the Subscription Terms and Refund Policy for details.
Payment
Card payments are processed by Stripe. Manual MobilePay payments are reviewed by us before Premium is activated. Stripe receives only the information necessary for billing (identifier, email, plan) — never your cannabis logs, check-ins, chats, or photos.
Termination
We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms or that abuse the service. You can terminate your account at any time from Settings → Delete account.
Disclaimer of warranties
The service is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind to the maximum extent permitted by law.
Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Johannes Salovaara is not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages. Nothing in these Terms limits mandatory consumer rights under Finnish and EU consumer protection law.
Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of Finland (EU), without prejudice to mandatory consumer protection rules of your country of residence. Disputes with EU consumers may also be brought before the consumer's local courts.
Changes
We may update these Terms. Material changes will be announced in-app; continued use after the effective date is acceptance of the new version.
